Solar PV system installation

ANRE-authorized teams, any roof or ground configuration, from project to grid connection. We stay with you from the first consultation to commissioning and prosumer registration.

On-grid grid-connected

Produces solar energy and consumes it in real time; the surplus is injected into the grid and credited by the supplier (1:1 offsetting guaranteed by law until 31.12.2030). No batteries.

Benefits
  • Lowest upfront cost — no batteries needed
  • Fast payback (4–6 years est.)
  • Bill reduced by 70–90% in sunny months
When it fits
  • Homes with high daytime consumption
  • Limited budget, payback as priority
  • Areas with a stable grid
During an outage the system shuts down automatically (anti-islanding protection). It does not work without the grid.

Hybrid with storage

Combines PV production with a hybrid inverter and batteries. By day it produces and stores the surplus, at night it draws from the battery, and any remaining surplus is injected into the grid.

Benefits
  • Partial independence (50–80% night coverage)
  • Works during outages (backup)
  • Maximum bill reduction, including at night
When it fits
  • High night consumption (heat pump, EV)
  • Areas with frequent outages or instability
  • Ready for the 1:1 offsetting expiry after 2030

Off-grid autonomous

A system fully independent of the grid: panels, an off-grid inverter, high-capacity batteries and, optionally, a backup generator. Not grid-connected — no prosumer dossier needed.

Benefits
  • Total independence — zero electricity bill
  • Works in locations with no grid access
  • No distribution charges or grid tariffs
When it fits
  • Cabins, farms, isolated properties
  • Sites where grid connection is too costly
  • Agrivoltaic projects, tiny houses, microfarms
Requires more complex sizing and high-capacity batteries. Higher upfront cost than on-grid or hybrid.

Single-phase vs. three-phase installation

Before choosing your solar system it is essential to know your building’s electrical installation type — single-phase or three-phase. You can check it on the consumer unit or your distributor contract, and it directly affects the power you can legally install.

A single-phase installation (230V, one phase) is typical of apartments and small-to-medium homes, while three-phase (400V, three phases) is found in large houses, new buildings and commercial or industrial spaces. ELECRO checks your installation type during the free consultation and recommends the optimal inverter configuration.

  • Single-phase: maximum PV inverter power of 6–8 kWp (ANRE connection limit)
  • Three-phase: large installed power (>10 kWp), balanced across the 3 phases
  • Three-phase is required by the distributor for systems above 10 kW
  • Three-phase is recommended for EVs and heat pumps

Inverters & Batteries

Inverter & battery installation

We install, replace or upgrade inverters and batteries in existing systems — without replacing the whole system. Ideal for turning an on-grid system into a hybrid one or upgrading an underperforming one.

Available services

  • Faulty inverter replacement — fast diagnosis, replacement with compatible equipment and a final functional test.
  • Adding a battery to an existing system — turning an on-grid system into a hybrid one by adding a storage module and a hybrid inverter.
  • Power upgrade — replacing the inverter with a larger one for systems later extended with additional panels.
  • Periodic check — electrical and functional inspection of the inverter and battery per IEC 62446-1.

Equipment compatibility

We work with every major inverter and battery brand on the Romanian market. We verify compatibility before ordering and give objective technical recommendations, without being tied to a single manufacturer.

Prosumer dossier

Prosumer dossier preparation

We handle the prosumer dossier end to end, from the first signature to the final connection approval. Our standard documentation turnaround is 24 business hours from receiving the client’s documents.

We submit the dossier to the relevant distributor (DELGAZ, DEO, RE or other) and follow the process through to approval.

  • Completed and signed connection request
  • Authorized technical execution project (PTE)
  • Single-line diagram of the installation
  • Technical datasheets of the installed equipment
  • Commissioning report
  • Energy performance declaration

Process steps

1. Collect client documents

ID, proof of ownership, latest electricity bill, installation technical data.

2. Prepare documentation (24h)

Technical project, single-line diagram, equipment datasheets.

3. Submit to the distributor

To DELGAZ, DEO, RE or the relevant local distributor.

4. Track approval & connection

We liaise with the distributor and keep the client informed in real time.

5. Prosumer contract

We support signing the contract with your chosen energy supplier.

Maintenance

Maintenance & cleaning of PV systems

A dirty or uninspected system can lose 20–30% of its yield per year. We offer preventive and corrective packages to keep production at the guaranteed optimal parameters.

Inspection types

  • Thermal drone inspection — detecting hot spots, faulty cells or burnt bypass diodes (per IEC TR 56257).
  • Electrical check — voltage, current and insulation resistance measurements per IEC 62446-1.
  • Performance report — production vs. estimate, PR (Performance Ratio) and system availability (IEC 61724-1).
  • 24/7 SCADA monitoring — continuous supervision with automatic alerts on production deviations.

Professional cleaning

Cleaning with demineralized water and specialized equipment, without risking surface damage or panel warranty loss. Robotic cleaning capacity: ~2 MW/day.

Maintenance packages

Residential (<50 kWp)

  • 1–2 cleaning campaigns/year
  • Annual electrical inspection
  • IEC 61724-1 performance report
  • PR warranty >75%
  • System availability 97%

Industrial (>50 kWp)

  • 4 maintenance campaigns/year
  • 3 cleaning campaigns/year
  • Thermal drone inspection
  • 24/7 SCADA monitoring
  • PR warranty >78%
Production reference in Romania: 1,200–1,500 kWh/kWp/year. A well-maintained 10 kWp system produces 12,000–15,000 kWh per year — the average consumption of 4–5 households.
